Here’s some of my coverage of the Ragan Communications event, “Employee Communications, PR and Social Media Summit” where I was reporting for Ignite Technologies.
Last year at the Techcrunch Disrupt conference I asked people what was the worst office communications faux pas they ever witnessed. Almost all of the responses were email based. It’s where we do the majority of our communications and therefore it makes sense it’s where we make the majority of our mistakes, especially publicly.
Since I got some great answers asking that question, I asked it again at the Ragan Communications event, “Employee Communications, PR and Social Media Summit.”
Many people had some inappropriate stories to tell, and some admitted to making the mistakes themselves. It doesn’t matter how advanced our technology gets. People still suffer from “foot-in-mouth” disease.
